I got a call from the States this afternoon that my mom was leaving for the airport! In a short 24 hours (3 flights) she will be landing in Cameroon! I'm so excited to see her.
And for those of you who may have heard about my recent amoeba-related issues, stop worrying! I've almost finished the treatment and am already feeling better. And I lost all that extra weight. Although I have now decided that amoeba-diets are just not worth it!
Oh, and something almost exciting as having my mom come is the water is back! Yay! I filled all the buckets in the house before leaving because on ne sait jamais.
